Before we get into creating a strawberry blonde look, we highly suggest having a hair color consultation with your hairstylist or client to ensure that both parties are on the same page. Anytime someone is undergoing a hair transformation, the stylist should be informed on exactly what the client wants and the stylist should be able to inform the client about realistic expectations. 

Natural Blonde Base — If you or your client has naturally blonde hair, it can be easy to achieve a strawberry hue on the first visit. You can infuse coppery red tones into the hair using hair color from brands like Schwarzkopf Professional, which features shades like blonde red copper or light blonde red beige. Be mindful of whether or not the client’s blonde hair color is naturally on the cooler or warmer side just so you can achieve the desired look.

Virgin Dark Hair — If the client has virgin dark hair that hasn’t been dyed before, it may be possible to lift their hair to a dark or medium blonde in one process and then deposit red or copper onto the hair to give it a strawberry look.
